Privacy policy

Our principle

Daawem is designed to protect your privacy and modesty first. We collect the minimum data needed to run plans, recitation and challenges, and we never sell your data.

Data we use

Account data: name, username and gender. Gender is used so that recitation is men with men and women with women only, which is why it can't be changed after sign-up.

Memorization data: your plans, daily portions and completions, review schedule, record, and participation in challenges and the community feed.

Recitation

Recitation calls are voice-only and are never recorded; nothing from them is stored.

Profile photos are not shown during sessions, and a report button is always visible. We review reports to keep users safe.

Deleting your account

Your data is yours. You can delete your account and data from inside the app in one step, anytime.
