# Daawem (داوم)

> Daawem (داوم) is a free Quran memorization (hifz) app for Android and iPhone. Users pick a surah or juz and a number of days; the app splits it into a daily portion by pages of the Madinah Mushaf (604 pages), lets them recite to a live listener over a voice-only, unrecorded, same-gender call, schedules spaced review of every memorized page (near review, then 7/14/30/60-day intervals), and keeps friends consistent through group challenges. The app interface is in Arabic.

- Platforms: Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) — launching soon.
- Recitation partners: men with men and women with women only; voice-only; calls are never recorded; no profile photos in sessions; report button in every session.
- Plans follow the Madinah Mushaf (Hafs), show the exact ayah range per day, estimate daily time, and give the completion date in Hijri and Gregorian.
